My daughter loves music and so do I, hence it was a natural for us to be attracted to the many good MIDI music sites on the Internet. You can tell by the mix of music files available for downloading what our tastes are!

MIDI music is generated via computer equipped with a synthesizer board. To play these files, your PC must have a sound card and software that plays this type of file. Windows and Windows 95 come with such a program, known as Media Player, but there are many more. Download a plug-in for Netscape Navigator via Netscape's plug-in page. For Internet Explorer users, you generally don't have to worry since plug-ins are usually installed automatically on your PC when you visit a page that requires the use of a plug-in.

Left-click on the link to play the music (assuming you've set up your browser so that it knows what to do when it encounters a .MID file), or right-click on the link and choose Save Target As... (in Internet Explorer) or Save Link As... (in Netscape Navigator) to download it.
